Let's talk rubbers

Hi guys,

New here but really want to join you amazing guys to become a 4x4 responder.

I have a pretty stock Freelander 2 and I think my first upgrade should be tyres. I thought I would ask the pros if you guys have any advice or suggestions?

I'm not too fussed on the price of them but they will be used on the road too.

I've been pretty impressed with the std ones on the 110 - will look at them in a bit - have the word cross in them - but I've only changed 2 in like 70K miles so can't remember what they are called! :-)

Awesome cheers guys, anyone tried the Michelin Cross Climate / 4 Vectors off road? They seem to score well for snow. BFGoodrich always seem to grab my attention.

Hi Guys

I have a Freelander 2 and have General Grabber AT3s 235 60 R 18. Have had them for 2 years and are great. Insurance company insisted that they were fitted by a tyre company as the speed rating is lower than that recommend by Land Rover. I did experience about a 3-5 mpg drop, but the grip is well worth it.

Ian
