Strongly worded letter from EMAS
 

This sort of thing makes me really emotional when I get them... you guys have clearly made a massive impression!

It is and feels good to be part of and recognised by those that 4x4 response helps..

All I can say is bring on what ever comes, we now know we can cope as a group to aid and assist those who request our help in performing their jobs and profession.

We may be voluntary, but I think we are proving ourselves to be professional in our own rights as a supporting logististical group...

on a funny note just worked out what EMAS stands for lol blond moment take 2 x

ok i threatened to throw it out of the window and it let me put it on the desk top and open it from there! so if any1 else has a problem opening it grab and drag it to ur desk top. drop it there and then click on the icon it creates. it should then open - but then again it could just be my computer which doesnt like it!

Double click on the letter then it should open, needs a pdf reader

makes it all worth while when you get letters like this though - keep all the good work every1 and well done:D

that letter was so much a heart fealt thank you that it does give you such a warm feeling to be part of such a sucessful and vital group :D

I can only speak for myself, but when I go out on a call, I go with the intention of doing all I can to help the person or persons in need of assistance. That in itself gives great satisfaction and a warm feeling inside, but when you get users putting pen to paper and expressing their gratitude for all to read, it turns into a warm glow inside, knowing that the group has reached out and made such a big difference to them.
Well done to all that played their part in this particular instance, and a big well done to all those who have just gone about their callouts without any whingeing or whining in other areas.
Just thinking last night that if it had not been for the vision of Ian Clark, none of us would have been in this Great Response Group now. WELL DONE IAN.!!

Aye, from the dozen or so of us at that first meeting, just look at what we've created.
