Let's talk rubbers
Hi guys,
New here but really want to join you amazing guys to become a 4x4 responder. I have a pretty stock Freelander 2 and I think my first upgrade should be tyres. I thought I would ask the pros if you guys have any advice or suggestions? I'm not too fussed on the price of them but they will be used on the road too. |
Hi there,
im also new. My everyday tires are Grabber M+S. Pirelli Scorpion Verde are a good all round tire good luck |
I've been pretty impressed with the std ones on the 110 - will look at them in a bit - have the word cross in them - but I've only changed 2 in like 70K miles so can't remember what they are called! :-)

Awesome cheers guys, anyone tried the Michelin Cross Climate / 4 Vectors off road? They seem to score well for snow. BFGoodrich always seem to grab my attention.

Hi Guys
I have a Freelander 2 and have General Grabber AT3s 235 60 R 18. Have had them for 2 years and are great. Insurance company insisted that they were fitted by a tyre company as the speed rating is lower than that recommend by Land Rover. I did experience about a 3-5 mpg drop, but the grip is well worth it. Ian |
