Flash Warning of - Widespread Icy Roads For the following areas - East Midlands (Severe) - Yorkshire & Humber (Severe) - Bedfordshire (Severe) - Bracknell Forest (Severe) - Brighton + Hove (Severe) - Buckinghamshire (Severe) - Cambridgeshire (Severe) - Darlington (Severe) - E Sussex (Severe) - Gtr London (Severe) - Hartlepool (Severe) - Hertfordshire (Severe) - Luton (Severe) - Middlesbrough (Severe) - Milton Keynes (Severe) - Peterborough (Severe) - Reading (Severe) - Redcar + Cleveland (Severe) - Slough (Severe) - Stockton-on-Tees (Severe) - Surrey (Severe) - W Sussex (Severe) - Windsor + Maidenhead (Severe) - Wokingham (Severe) Following Wednesday's snow showers widespread ice is expected to form on untreated surfaces during Wednesday evening, Wednesday night and into Thursday morning. In addition to this further snow showers are expected to give accumulations of a centimetre or two in places. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the Highways Agency for further advice on road conditions on motorways and trunk roads.
