A Warning has been issued for the following regions
- South West England (Amber)
- Wales (Amber)
- London & South East England (Amber)
- Strathclyde (Amber)
- Highlands & Eilean Siar (Yellow)
- Northern Ireland (Yellow)
- North West England (Amber)
- East Midlands (Amber)
- SW Scotland, Lothian Borders (Amber)
- North East England (Amber)
- West Midlands (Amber)
- Yorkshire & Humber (Amber)
- Grampian (Amber)
- Central, Tayside & Fife (Amber)
- East of England (Amber)
A band of snow over eastern parts of England, with accumulations of 5-10cm widely, will clear eastwards on Sunday morning, turning generally lighter and to rain or sleet as it does so. Behind this, clearing skies will lead to widespread icy patches forming. The public are advised to take extra care and that the ice and snow is likely to lead to travel disruption.
