- N Yorkshire (Severe)
- NE Lincolnshire (Severe)
- Northumberland (Severe)
- Redcar + Cleveland (Severe)
- Stockton-on-Tees (Severe)
- Tyne + Wear (Severe)
Persistent and often heavy rain is expected to continue to spread
northwards along easternmost parts of England this evening and
overnight with rainfall rates locally 15 mm in three hours, and up
to 30 mm possible in the period. The public are advised to take
extra care and refer to the Highways Agency for further advice on
traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads.
